TL;DR

Track'd is a local-only app. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your data. There are no accounts, no sync, and no analytics in the iOS app. The trackd.food website uses Vercel's cookieless analytics for aggregate visitor counts.

What Track'd (iOS app) stores

Everything you log in Track'd — food entries, inventory, meal plans, tags, targets — lives in a local Core Data database on your device. Track'd does not transmit, back up, or sync this data anywhere. It exists only on your iPhone or iPad, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.

What Track'd does NOT do

• No accounts, no login, no email collection.
• No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting SDKs.
• No third-party SDKs of any kind.
• No outbound network requests from the app.
• No access to your photos, camera, microphone, contacts, location, health data, or motion.
• No advertising. No tracking. No data sales.

Sharing entries and inventory items

When you share an entry, inventory item, or day summary using Track'd's share feature, the data is encoded into the fragment (the part after #) of a https://trackd.food/share link or a QR code that you control. Browsers and servers never transmit URL fragments over the network — the encoded data exists only in the link itself and on the devices of the sender and recipient.

Recipients with Track'd installed have the link routed directly to the app via Apple Universal Links, which decodes the data locally. Recipients without the app see a static page inviting them to install Track'd; trackd.food's server never sees the encoded data.

The trackd.food website

This website (trackd.food) uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics product that collects aggregate visitor counts (pages viewed, country, referrer) without using cookies or tracking individuals across sites. No personal data is collected.

The site is statically generated and serves only HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and font files. No backend, no database, no forms that submit data.

Children

Track'd is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since we do not collect information from anyone, this is automatic.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes (such as adding any data collection in the future), we will note the change clearly at the top of this page.
